About Flange Management
Flange Management B.V. is an independent engineering company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We specialize in flange joint calculations, verification and documentation for critical bolted joints in industrial installations.
Our work supports asset owners, engineers, maintenance teams and inspectors who need clear, traceable and defensible flange joint documentation.
We combine engineering knowledge, practical field understanding and structured calculation tools to help reduce uncertainty around flange make-up values, bolt load, gasket stress and joint integrity.
Our focus
Flange joints are critical points in industrial systems. When assumptions, calculations or assembly requirements are unclear, the risk of leakage, inspection findings and operational uncertainty increases.
Flange Management helps clients create structured engineering evidence for flange joints, including:
FlangeUp®
FlangeUp® is our calculation and documentation platform for flange joint make-up calculations.
With FlangeUp® Calculators, users can generate a free preliminary result for selected flange joint data. From the calculator result, a customer can optionally order an engineer-reviewed Calculation Report prepared by Flange Management.
This approach makes flange joint data easier to check, document and share.
In addition to engineering review and calculation tools, Flange Management develops practical inspection and measurement tools for flange joint integrity, including Thread Elongation Gauges for checking permanent deformation in bolt threads.
Our approach
We believe flange engineering should be clear, traceable and practical.
Every calculation depends on selected standards, materials, gasket data, bolt properties, friction assumptions and operating conditions. Our work is focused on making those assumptions visible and reviewable.
We do not only calculate values; we help document the engineering basis behind them.
Who we support
Standards and compliance
Our calculations and review processes are based on the selected flange standard, applicable calculation data and relevant engineering methodology. Where project requirements apply, assumptions and deviations can be documented for review.
Our aim
Our aim is to help clients move from scattered calculation data to clear, structured flange joint documentation.
Whether the question comes during maintenance, inspection, project handover or incident review, the goal is the same: make the engineering basis visible, traceable and easier to defend.
